RATES
All services at Wolf's Den are offered for what we like to call "community pricing." Every project is different, so we like to work with you to figure out a fair price. Let us know the nature of your project and your budget and we'll find a common ground based on the intensiveness of the work to be done.
RECORDING
If you're a band on a budget, or for whatever reason just want to get in front of a microphone and lay down some sounds, we've got you covered. You won't need to hock your favorite amp to pay for studio time. With a modest collection of gear and rich collection of experience, we can fill your multitracking needs.
MIXING
A wise man once told me that a good mix is in the ear, not the gear. At the den you can rest assured your mix is in good ears. We're all about working together to get that particular sound you're going for.
PRODUCTION
Production means a lot of thing to a lot of people, but our philosophy is that the role of a producer is to help translate an artist's vision from what's their head to its recorded form. We can be as involved as you like in realizing the production goals for your projects.
MASTERING:
Mastering is a very specific and complicated art, and I don't claim to be a mastering engineer. But in all honesty, I've heard a lot of folks claim to be mastering engineers when their end results are... well... less than stellar.
At the Den, if you want your mixes cleaner and louder without getting trashed, we can help you out with a solid finalizing job. But if you can afford to, we recommend taking your tracks to a specialized professional. Our dear friend Philip Shaw Bova at Bova Lab Studio has done great work with us before, and he can set you up right.
